Referring someone to MVC?
Support coordinators, plan managers and other providers can begin a referral or service discussion. Obtain the person's consent and start with a short outline.

We discuss the particular service, fees and your support arrangements before support starts. Use of NDIS funding depends on the support and your plan. Registration does not mean every service or activity is automatically funded.

MVC can help you connect with Melbourne Equine Therapy in Seville and explore whether the service suits your goals. We can help coordinate the enquiry and discuss any support you need to take the next step.
Melbourne Equine Therapy provides the therapy. Their team discusses suitability, practitioner details, session arrangements and fees with you. MVC's role is to help you connect and coordinate relevant support.

Funding is not automatic. Animal-assisted therapy must be delivered by a qualified health professional as part of evidence-based treatment and meet NDIS requirements, including being related to your disability and consistent with your plan.
Recreational horse activities have different funding treatment. The NDIS does not pay their general activity costs as therapy. Disability-related assistance to take part may be considered separately. Check the service, fees and your funding arrangements before booking.
